The Sea Aquaria exhibit at the Galerie Butovice mall in Prague earned the mall the prestigious Czech “Best of Realty” award following its installation in 2005. Working closely with ICM (International Concept Management), our sister company, RPT engineered and fabricated the monolithic castings for the tank walls.

The two 20,000 gallon (75,000 liter) saltwater tanks were then seamlessly bonded together, with each tank measuring nearly 15 feet long (4.5m), 6 feet wide (almost 2m), and 55 inches high (nearly 1.5m). Complete with fauna and artificial coral, the tanks were shipped from the U.S. to the Czech Republic for installation on a mirror-finished pedestal to support the filtration system.

Behind the 2.5 inch thick (65mm) acrylic swim more than 60 species of the world’s most colorful tropical reef fish, including lion fish, eels, Blue Damsels, angel fish, and bottom-dwelling Port Jackson sharks.
