Installed in the lobby of the Vantage Point Waterfront building, RPT worked closely with ICM to recreate a tropical, Caribbean environment in an aquarium. RPT supplied R-Cast™ acrylic in the formation of the tank measuring 22 feet long x 8 feet high and 6 feet deep (6.7m L x 2.4m H x 1.8m D).

The aquarium was designed to support a relatively large and diverse population of colorful aquatic life. ICM, together with Aquatics by Design, developed a list of suggested species to ensure compatibility, as well as color and movement, within the aquarium. Additionally, ICM made sure that the reef not only represented an authentic Caribbean Reef, but also provided opportunities for the fish to develop “homes” and safe territories.

An array of overhead lighting uses state-of- the-art fixtures that will enhance both the mood of the exhibit from day to night and provide a healthy source of UV light for the species within the exhibit aquarium.
