 Through an advanced acrylic casting process and our proprietary R-Cast™ acrylic, we consistently break new ground as to what can be accomplished with acrylic. Unlike the rest of the industry that laminates multiple, thinner acrylic sheets together, each project at RPT is custom cast to the required thickness. This allows for better optical and thermoforming properties, thus permitting greater design freedoms.
Some facts about R-Cast™ Acrylic:
- R-Cast™ acrylic physical properties are the same as or better than Lucite® and Plexiglass
- More than four times stronger than concrete
- Weighs half as much as glass
- As transparent as the finest optical glass providing excellent light transmission
- Filters out most of the harmful UV in natural and artificial light
- Resists aging and maintains stability under a wide range of temperatures
- Nearly invisible bonds
- Widest variety of acrylic sheet, acrylic rod, and acrylic tube in the industry
