In a unique twist to the standard pools and aquariums typically requested of RPT, this private residence in Southern California combines the two elements together. Sandwiched between the swimming pool and a lounging bar in the basement is an aquarium made out of thick, R-Cast™ acrylic sheets. What makes this project unique is that swimmers in the pool are able to see directly into the aquarium; viewers in the basement lounge area are able to see through the aquarium into the swimming pool.
