The escalator that runs through the Coral Reef Tank at the Beijing Aquarium is truly a sight to see. Not only is the tank viewable from two levels – underwater and above the tank – but it is also viewable via the clear R-Cast™ acrylic tunnel that surrounds the escalator. This exhibit, along with a number of other exhibits – including one for the rare Chinese sturgeon – resulted in being among the first to be ranked as a China AAAA National Attraction.

RPT also supplied R-Cast™ acrylic for the Shark Tank. Hollowed out into the side of the tank are spherical bubbles, some of which are concave, others are convex, which magnifies the sharks and gives the illusion that the visitor is in the tank with the sharks.
