Features Circular Water Feature in traffic circle with infinity-edge pool

Date Completed 2008

Project Details

The boulevard leading to the entrance to the heart center at the Cleveland Clinic leads visitors around a donut-shaped water feature similar to a fountain. This water feature sits directly in the road, serving as a median to a traffic circle at the renowned Clinic’s entrance.

The feature uses R-Cast acrylic for the inside and outside circles of the infinity-edge pool. In this feature, water gently flows over the top edges on the outside and inside of the donut into a catch basin at the base of the fountain. The fountain debuted as part of the unveiling ceremony at the renovated heart center in mid-November.
