Reynolds Polymer Announces New Market Team Leader in Latin America

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Butch Ringelspaugh is an industry expert with several years of experience in both conservation and acrylic sales. He is expected to have a large impact on a region full of potential growth.

Grand Junction, CO. January 20, 2015 – Reynolds Polymer Technology is pleased to announce that Butch Ringelspaugh has been chosen as its new Business Development Manager for Latin America. Mr. Ringelspaugh joined RPT in 2013 as a sales representative for AZA accredited zoos and aquariums. His incredible success and skills in facility operations and design made him the top candidate for the new position.

As a former curator, Mr. Ringelspaugh has a strong background in aquarium management and conservation work. He also possesses a formal education in Environmental Science and Policy. These attributes will bring an expert level of customer service into a region that is experiencing great economic momentum. “When I made the decision to take off my curator hat and go into sales, I could not have predicted that it would go so well,” said Butch. “Latin America, the entire region, is both scenic and dynamic. The potential is there for us at RPT to do great things for my customers.”

Butch has worked in the public aquarium industry for over a decade, giving him the opportunity to view the habitat building process from a unique perspective. As Butch will be servicing new accounts with custom size viewing windows, he will have the opportunity to envision and assist in the design of water-retaining exhibits and educational displays. “I hope to literally enable everyone’s water retaining ideas to hold water. The possibilities with acrylic are endless.”

In his free time, the Florida native spends as much time on the ocean as possible. In fact, he resides on the water in a motor yacht. “I love the sea and the creatures that inhabit it,” commented Ringelspaugh. “That is why I chose the career path that I did.”

RPT has had a hand in several Latin American aquariums in recent years, including projects in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia. Acquario Ceará, currently being constructed in Fortaleza, Brazil, will feature a revolutionary design unlike any other aquarium in the world.
