Reynolds Polymer Technology Empowers Employees and Community with New Resource Foundation

Initiative focuses on philanthropic efforts and providing support for company employees and Colorado groups and residents

Grand Junction, Colo. (December 19, 2018) - Reynolds Polymer Technology, the world's leader in fully integrated, highly engineered acrylic solutions, recently launched a foundation aimed at encouraging employees to give back to the community. The Reynolds Polymer Employee Resource Foundation is rooted in the notion that employees should have the opportunity to support their passions and communities. Every dollar donated by a Reynolds Polymer Technology employee is matched by the Company.

“We are beyond thrilled about starting this company-wide initiative,” said Rodney Olson, CEO of Reynolds Polymer Technology. “Our goal is to allow all team members to engage in a philanthropic cause of their choice and in doing this we can continue our mindset of ‘Building the Impossible’ across Mesa County and Colorado at large.”

Created in April 2018, the Employee Resource Foundation is centered around the people and community of Reynolds Polymer Technology. Three funding categories comprise the Foundation’s efforts: employee needs during challenging moments in life, children and education sponsorships, and community events and sponsorships. To date, the group has donated almost $10,000 to a variety of causes such as Kiwanis Pancake Day, Central High School’s Band Program and Riverside Education Center as well as multiple employees who faced obstacles throughout the year. Another ongoing event the Foundation has in place includes a holiday toy drive in partnership with Salvation Army. This year the Foundation donated four full barrels of toys.

“This program has created an incredible sense of sustainability and unification around the office and I am proud to work for an organization that makes giving back a priority,” said Todd King, Global Logistics Manager at Reynolds Polymer Technology and President of the Employee Resource Foundation.

In addition to the Foundation, Reynolds Polymer Technology makes it a year-round point to donate premium materials and labor for numerous community projects around the state. In September, the acrylic pioneers helped develop a stunning water cylinder attraction for theWestern Slope Center for Children in Grand Junction, which is now a welcoming focal point in the main lobby of the facility.

The Foundation looks forward to continuing to support its employees and their families and the local community throughout 2019. For more information on Reynolds Polymer Technology, visit reynoldspolymer.com.
