The fountain sculptures previously at the Palazzo Las Vegas Resort, Hotel, & Casino were truly a first for RPT. Unlike most projects that follow a solidified blueprint, the Palazzo water feature required exploring a brand-new process to create large-scale, amazingly detailed sculptures. The result was stunning. Three frosted acrylic sculptures of women in various poses all standing at 12 feet tall (3.7m). The sculptures were transported to the Palazzo and mounted to a 14 foot tall (4.3m) acrylic column that measured 32 inches (81.3cm) in diameter. The rest of the water feature was then assembled alongside customized display lighting. Although this original Reynolds fabrication and installation is no longer in operation today, the project remains a definitive showcase of the creativity, engineering, and advanced acrylic fabrication capabilities that Reynolds brings to large-scale architectural and themed environments.
